Since 10 January 2011, our water from the well on the border of Demjén has been classified as medicinal water according to the official opinion. We are therefore in the fortunate position of being able to fill our hotel's swimming pool with medicinal water, which is also thermal water.
The composition of our water is as follows: magnesium, sodium hydrocarbonate, sulphuric, fluoride thermal water with low levels of bromide, iodide, lithium and high levels of methacetic and metaboric acids.
Bathing in thermal water is not recommended for children under 14 years of age.
The recommended bathing time for adults is 15-30 minutes at a time. We cannot be held responsible for any health complaints caused by bathing beyond the recommended time.
The thermal water that you will receive is recommended for (but not limited to) the following:
skin conditions (eczema, psoriasis)
bone, joint and ligament injuries; operations; rehabilitation after implantation of prostheses
as an adjunct treatment for osteoporosis
chronic inflammatory musculoskeletal diseases
wear and tear of joints
inflammation of the joints
gynaecological inflammations
for gastric and bladder ulcers due to its antacid action
the sulphur content of the water has a beneficial effect on the skin.
